I can't believe it! My Norwegian Jaerhons have started laying!

That is wonderful. Glad to hear they live up to their reputation as winter layers. Can't wait for spring to come and my new chicks!

You know, I ordered them from Ideal last spring so that I didn't have to get straight run from Sand Hill. As far as I know, those are the only 2 available sources. I'd love to compare birds from both, if anyone has Sand Hill Jaerhons...and maybe trade eggs eventually? It is a little difficult to find information on them (wish I spoke Norwegian!)

Still haven't taken pics of the girls, as it is snowing here today! Hang onto your hats...

I know this thread is a little old but I thought I would add that Nature's Hatchery also sell Jaerhon chicks and hatching eggs. They also sex their Jaerhons, I have 4 pullets and 2 Cockerels coming Friday.

I have two 10 week old Jaerhon roosters that need new homes if anybody wants them. I live in Colorado Springs.

Here is a photo of one of my young Norwegian Roosters that need new homes.
They were hatched in my incubator and have been handled daily.

Your welcome.

I am looking for eggs. I have two Jaerhons, a pair. But I want more hens that are not related to my Roo.
I can even work an egg swap, if yah want.

I have two pairs Jaers. dark and light. They have not started laying yet but I would love to do an egg swap when I start getting eggs -which should be in about a month or two. You can email me at [email protected] I am not very good or familiar with a checking forum messages.
