Why don't you reschedule for sometime after the baby is born? I have an old filling that needs to be replaced and my dentist said she wants to wait until after the baby... I'm assuming due to the Novacaine that will be needed?? Anyway, why risk losing your teeth when there are all kinds of drugs available that can help you get through dentist appointments? Just be sure to tell them that you're terrified and need some help. I'm not afraid of the dentist but I know people who need serious medication just to be able to get themselves in the door.

Hi, I'm new here... and yes, I'm expecting too. I'll be ready to pop in June.
I've been lucky with this pregnancy too. (my first one was a breeze) My only complaints are really loose joints (especially my hips) and HEARTBURN!!!

I am a bit concerned about being around my chicks and chickens while pregnant. Anyone else? Should be ok, right?
I wear a dust mask and gloves when doing my litter box for the cats so if I take the same precautions while doing the chicken coop I think I should be alright, right?

I wish I had that type of energy while pregnant. I'm 16 weeks and have only gained 1 pound so far b/c I'm so nauseous, which also completely saps my energy. I can barely keep up with work and feeding the animals. The house has definitely not been really cleaned in a while...

I have lost close to ten pounds

Oh, I can imagine. I'm not on bed rest, she just told me to take it easy. Being considered ancient while pregnant has its perks.

17 weeks.

not even half way, and I'm so sick of hospitals, doctors etc already! Hopefully I'll be taken off the complete rest thing soon (said that last week, the week before.... ), I see my GP tomorrow and the Obstetrician on Thurs so there's a chance!

doesn't help with people saying "just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you have to sit around and do nothing" - it's like they think I'm just being lazy. I would LOVE to do something other than sit around and then visit various hospitals etc... I had to remind my fiance's dad that me sitting around being an incubator might just save his grandchild's life so he can stop hinting to me that he's hungry and go and make his own <bleeep> sandwich! not that he could be bothered to walk about 2 metres down the hallway to ask me to do it, or even just open the door to the room he sits in all day every day and yell - he sent me a text! and he thinks I'm the lazy one???

going to break the rule a bit later and make pancakes (crepes) because no-one else here can make them very well and it's tradition. but it'll take less time and effort than all these trips to the hospital take every time! Should be ok. If I feel tired, weird, or get any pain etc I'll just hand the frying pan over to whoever's nearest and tell them they can make me one instead. if they refuse, well I'm already standing there with a weapon (hot frying pan!)

I thought pregnancy was a free pass to be moody and get away with it. My poor DH wants to move out for 9 months and come home when the baby is born.....LOL

I feel like I am the last one here that will have this baby. I am only 9 weeks tomorrow
