I Can't Choose!!!

I'd get the Black Jersey Giant's! I love the beetle sheen and they are usually big docile teddy bears..However if eggs are on your mind they're just okay layers. If eggs are important then hands down the white leghorns.. They will lay close to 300 eggs a year!! Machines! :D. The Rock and RIR will be less at approx 200-250 /year and the Orpington and Sussex average at around 150-200 /year.... The Jersey Giants even worse. However if meat is on your mind... You could dress a Barred Rock at 12-16 weeks (7 lbs), RIR and Sussex at 16-20 weeks (6.5 lbs), Orpington at 20-24 (7.5 lbs) and Jersey Giant at 6+ months (9 lbs).. All numbers are approximate.. :)

I would for sure get an Easter Egger- I have one and she is so beautiful! Very smart and a natural leader. She is curious, sweet and loves to hop up on my shoulder but the fact that they are pastel coloured eggs is reason enough. Although since she is still young I haven't seen any eggs yet . From what I see Barred Rocks are very pretty, good layers and have good personalities so that might be a good choice too but overall, I would go with the easter eggers- or the rhode islands if you want a lot of eggs.
