I can't even give this away. FREE (UPDATE) He has a new home

There are lots of equine rescue organizations around that might be able to help you find a good home for him. Many folks are having problems finding homes for their animals (large ones, anyway) these days. I work with a llama rescue organization and in two months we took in over 60 llamas - many came from good homes where the owners just couldn't afford them or didn't have the time to care for them. I don't know where you live, but in my state I know of two great animal organizations that could help.

She is in PA

There is a HUGE equine rescue in PA and very strict about who they adopt to....................
Very good with their rescues
Might be worth looking into

He's so pretty! If he was near California, I can tell you my mom would probably take him.

I hope you find him a home for him soon.

I know the current situation with people affording their horses is really bad. It breaks my heart hearing some of the sad stories.

Sadly people just can't afford a free horse. They cost too much to keep. I wish I could. I don't even have any grass in my pasture, just mud & brown weeds. Good grain costs $20 a bag (horse eats a bag a week) and Hay costs way too much ($6-10 a bale).

If you'd be willing to donate him to a good cause you might want to contact these people (I know them personally and they have just started this organization): http://www.marleysmission.info/ They are in Northeast, PA. Tell them "Laura" referred you.

I hope you find a wonderful home for him. I would take him if I had a barn.
