it is a normal people door, and i dont have a hammer or chissel on hand. I will try to use the hot water, but it is the top and bottom of the door that is frozen thanks for all the suggestions

If you have a car you have a tire changing kit in with your spare.
Use the lug wrench and a brick or rock.

If you have electric nearby, an extension cord and hair dryer on high may help. I have an old hair dryer that I keep in the barn for any frozen tasks, comes in handy.

Did you get in? I had this happen on Thursday. Are the hinges on the outside? My husband took it down by removing the hinges and trimmed the bottom.
