You realize one thing when reading everything: you live where you wanna live cause if ya didn't wanna live there you wouldn't!!

There's pros & cons to every place!! I love where I live and just take the good with the bad...

I know it's been crazy cold here but right now I think I'd rather that than the rain we're expecting later this week... Seriously not looking forward to the mud again!! (Don't think my chickies are either!!)

Hope everyone stays warm & dry!!

I didn't realize you guys had that much snow, I guess I'll count my blessing with the 10" on the ground and the freezing cold

DH and I just cut through PA to get to NJ( the land of taxation) and I am appalled by how much you all pay for how little you all get! Roads are always bad in PA. You all are paying for Philly and Newark...get my drift( sorry for the snow pun!) I left Long Island when I was 21 to make a life...glad I did! Wild horses couldn't get me back there!(I own 3 wild horses!) Miss the water, pizza, and bagels. Brought 6 dozen bagels home with us!

Must be the very BEST state. I've heard that when you, as a foreigner, visit Maine, you're expected to buy your lobster, and then go home!!!

We're going to 34 in a couple days. That's a heat wave for here this time of year.

I AM SO FREAKIN JEALOUS!!! We got some below zero weather the past couple weeks, but I would LOVE to have it a little more often. Sadly for us, our winter is probably over for the most part

Well up here in Alberta we've been above freezing for a few days already which is a nice break for everybody, so I'm sure it's coming your way soon! I sure feel sorry for you all that don't usually get this cold and snow and are having a hard time dealing with it. It's hard to imagine getting 3 feet of snow in 1 day.....we're lucky if we get that much in 2-3 winters!! Seriously we only have about 8 inches of snow so far. Bundle up good when you go outside and you might start to like the snow.....lol

Just a little snow in the winter, this is the coldest it has been in 25 years. In the summer, no humidity and the average temps are in the 70s and 80s. Last summer I didn't have to run the window fan more than a couple of times at night. Don't even need an air conditioner. Usual winter temps average in the 30s and 40s.

Beautiful scenery and affordable land and taxes, moderate temps and good growing season. Most beautiful area in the most beautiful state in the eastern portion of the US!
