Pullets and cockerals both grow combs and wattles. The size and redness of combs and wattles varies tremendously, usually by breed. I wait for better feather development. Post some pics and we might be able to pick them out.

Second - I can't tell on mine either. It's a guessing game for me until they are much older.

I know, I'm not much help - just wanted to say "Welcome."

We have been trying out some of those old tales as a part of a school project and low and behold there is SOME merit to many of them but do it for fun don't go cull the roosters too quick

I have been getting 1 egg a day from one of my chickens, I thought it was the bigger one but now I am beginning to think Petunia looks like a rooster. What do you think

The egg is always in the area where she sleeps. She is a hen isn't she???
