I caught an egg today!!

One of the GC's got run out of the nest she was in. She then homesteaded in a nest with one of the Tetra's. She was standing there doing the egg squat, so I thought, what the heck, try it. I put my hand under her, expecting a short wait, but she already had it halfway out. I caught it in my hand, lol.

It was nice and warm, and sticky! I blow dried it, by blowing on it.

LOL thats funny. I havn't even gotten a first egg yet. Mine are 4 weeks old . I dont think I'll be getting eggs for a long time.

LOL!!! They come out wet. I wait a minute before grabbing them out of the nest. I don't like touching wet eggs.

I watched my little Silver Sebright lay an egg; it was the neatest thing! I didn't even think about catching it.
