I have missed THOOTP too. I was crazy busy and then when I finally got a break, I hurried back to BYC to catch up with my friends and THOOTP was closed down. I was heartbroken, it was pretty much the only reason I was such a regular was to talk to my friends. So with THOOTP closed down, I didn't see much purpose in me being a regular here anymore.

Wish I had known I just placed a order from Ideal I could have ordered him a mate. I have Pekings but in my last hatch I had a black and yellow duck hatch it is smaller than the Pekings, but have no idea of the sex. I think a wild mallard got to the sellers ducks or maybe he mixed a khaki in with my eggs, he sells those also.​

I'm getting a trio of 'scovies next week, so at least he'll have other ducks to hang out with.

Right now, he just has a couple of geese and bunch of chickens.

Edited to change Pekins to Muscovies. LOL Brain fart!

Nice little khaki drake. Hens shouldnt be that hard to find. Check the feed stores in a couple months.

He wasn't too pleased with being handled, but he only tried to bite once and even then it wasn't hard. He was wanting to walk away, but one hand kept him in place for the pictures.

We put him on the pond and it seemed like he bathed for 15 minutes straight. LOL Either he was trying to get my smell off of him, or he was so happy to have clean water and not that nasty Walmart drainage pond.

He looks pretty healthy. Yeah, get him some girlfriends. At LEAST 2. Jack (my khaki drake) has been...uhhh...servicing....all three of my females. He is one busy boy!!

He is a cutie! He needs like 6 girls...My old drake was a love machine...especially with the buff orpington chickens!
