I might be wrong but I kind of think that my 1 year old buff orpington used to look more golden. Now, she certainly looks and acts healthy. She lays an egg almost every day. But she looks paler than she used to. Again, maybe its me. Is this normal? Is there anything that I can do to make her look more vibrant and more golden?😟

Birds "fade" throughout the year as I think some of their pigmentation is used up during laying. Plus feathers get dingy with use. Molting and cessation of laying in fall/winter will refresh their feathers so they look less ratty and worn out, and let their bodies build up pigmentation again.

I was tempted to respond with a funny remark, but held back. :old
In reality, how a chicken looks is much less important to how healthy chicken is.
Rosemary Thyme described well the reasoning behind pigment decreasing.

Pale comb and wattles sometimes can be anemia, from mites or lice.
A pale comb/wattles on a 1-year-old in September most likely means she's wrapping up production for the season and about to molt. But OP says she's still laying, and refers to pale vs. golden, not pale vs. red, so I'm guessing he's talking about the plumage. She's still going to molt this fall, being over a year old, so the fading in color is probably just the feathers being old and worn out and about to be replaced.
