Just thought that I would get this off my chest!

My computer crashed this morning ARGH!

Lost everything! I'm so frustrated. Started acting up last night, couldn't shut down, couldn't back up files, nothing!

So here I sit just as mad as my broody when I kick her out of the nest!

I know the feeling. Same thing recenty happened to my husband's computer. It had 5 years of family pictures on it.

All of our business records..........gone.
What frustrates me the most is that I couldn't back anything up!

Good news is I called my POPS, he says he can fix for me

Sorry to hear about that, but why couldn't you back up your files? If you don't have a CD/DVD writer you can buy a 'Jump Drive' at walmart that'll back up whatever you want for $10-30 bucks.

Total bummer! Really sorry for your loss. I think I'm going to do a full backup of all my stuff tonight onto extenal drives and stick them in my firesafe tonight!!!

If you have another computer get yourself an external drive box and use via usb and backup your files that is unless the hdd itself crashed.

That happened to me several years ago, isn't it the most frustrating feeling in the world? Now I regularly back up all my music, pictures, and documents every other months so that if it happens again it wont be the end of the world

how do you back up your info? do i put a disk in my harddrive or something..

i dont want to loose my photos either..

Had that happen once, too.
I recently just bought a new computer cuz mine was crashing, but my son was able to get my stuff off my old hard drive with his computer that has Linux, and it was able to open and retrieve all my pics and everything, then he transferred it to my new computer!!!
