My husband didn't realize that chickens would lay eggs if there wasn't a rooster around. "Don't you have to have a rooster to get eggs?" Sorry.

Ya know it isn't just hubby's that way. My dad asked us before we got our orp. Rooster, "Daddy" , if the hens would lay since we didn't have a boy around. My Hubby looked at him and just laughed. I just turned and walked away.
