i crack my eggs open and theres a little white dot attached

    are they fertile eggs i ate them for breakfast this morning scrambled.

    White dots are not the sign of fertility. All eggs have them, called a blastodisc. That is what is fertilized when a rooster is present and mates the hen. When they have a ring around them, like a bullseye, that means the blastodisc has become a blastoderm and the egg is fertile.

    You can eat fertile eggs. All they are at first is a few cells, probally not even visible.
