I CRAVE A BUFF BRAHMA BANTAM!!!!

Here are some pictures of my sweethearts Sassy & Prilla (short for sassafras & sasparilla.) They are my favorites.

In these pictures they are just finishing molting. Just the way they even walk is adorable-and taking a dust bath-oh my!!! Way too cute!!!

Sorry for the pictures: they were taken before the coop was completely finished, so the trim board wasn't up quite yet in the first picture.

They are such beautiful birds, Janet. I have one Buff Brahma, standard size, named Caroline, and people always comment on her coloring.

Thanks, Cyn. I have another little lady in Bane's pen, but she was on the nest when I was up there with the camera. It's 20 degrees here right now too. Brr. I took a few snaps and ran back to the house! LOL.

I've only been to one show, a bantam club show an hour from me. The only bantams I wanted to see were the Brahmas and there were none.

Gosh, that's disappointing. Yeah, you never know what they'll have; that's why I love the Ohio National: for their selection of bantams. You can really get some good birds there.

great lap birds
lay more than my RIR bantams did
lay a nice size egg

I lost my my Roos this summer:
DH was building a deck! fell & broke ribs so we were at hospital all night!

lost 1/2 my flock (all roos)

Dominiques
Cochins (big & small)
Brahmas (big & small)
