I've been reading up trying to diagnose my hen, she passed a worm. I looked at a lot of pictures. It looked like a short earth worm, 2" long round, not real skinny, not a tape worm. She passed on the towel, in her basket. Any ideas? She's been droopy the last 3 days. Brought her in full time today, been eating and drinking a little...

Could be any of a number of worms. From the description I would hazard a guess at round worm. If you do a search for deworming or dewormer, you will find several really good products and dosing instructions on the board.

Thanks, I'm checking my local stored first thing tomorrow morning...

It is a large roundworm. Use safeguard (fenbendazole) or valbazen (albendazole) to take care of them and other types of worms she may have.

Thanks, I'm going to worm her and the other 2.... atleast I know what's going on. Poor baby...
