I Did It! I Killed My First Roo

    I had this very mean roo and today my husband and I killed him and cleaned him to put him in the freezer. It was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. Can't wait to taste him. Bet he's way better than grocery store chicken. LOL

    Sorry your roo was mean, but good for you - making use of him.


    Remember to rest him before you cook him.

    We've only processed one mean rooster. Made the best chicken stew ever! Went to find some leftover stew and DH had put it in a ziplock bag in the freezer marked "Jake Stew", LOL.
