I did it.my eggs are done

How do you save a thread like the long one about step by step making those eggs. I read it through a few weeks ago, and don't have time to do it now, but I really want to have the directions available for the future.

Should I just copy all however many pages and save it to my computer? or is there somewhere on this site that we can nominate special threads to be bookmarked?

read all the replies.....there it was

I am a BB idiot. I did find the "subscribe" button. But now I can't find where it is saved? Where do I find it now?

okiechick57, are you putting hangers on your eggs? If so, how are you doing it. Are you putting some sort of string/wire/hanger before you bake them? I can't quite get it through my head how to make them hang.

Your eggs are really cute, I just love them, the button one is as cute as........ well, as cute as a button!

you are one talented chick-a-dee!!! I LOVE your eggs, they are truly beautiful. How do you get your solid color backgrounds to come out so nicely? And are you double backing for the ones that have decorations? And how DID you get those hangers on there???? Can't wait to hear how well you do at the next crafts fair.

I didnt have hangers bought so I stole some flimsy ones off some old ornaments to try it out.....the squeeze together thingys

its a pain to get them in hole......but using the foil top type part that lays on top gives me some room for bending them out of my way until I get them in the hole.... a pin hole wont work, you can leave quite a good size hole because the flat top piece covers them.........
As for the base color looking good....well it is taking tons of practice.the piece I use for the solid background color is put the my pasta maker and cut to fit, so it is all one thickness. I do think I may got thicker on the next ones.but I have so much trouble with my arthritis , that sanding is very difficult for me and the thinner it is the easier it is to make smooth..... so I add buttons and such to cover my nicks, mistakes etc
