Why in the world would you say you did something bad!?! You tried to do something incredibly kind/generous! You should be proud of yourself, not beat yourself up. You did the right thing. By not putting yourself in danger by walking into a potential druglords den, you allowed yourself to live another day & give yourself another try at saving that little duckling! So, by saving yourself, you afforded yourself the opportunity to save the duckling. You did good, not bad! Don't feel guilty for choosing the safe path. You proved yourself wise, not a coward. Now, get yourself out of that depression and take a minute to bask in the praise of your fellow feather loving friends on this site! You did good. If you do choose to go back, please be safe and if possible, take along a friend... safety in numbers!
