At least you have the inner voice that tells you "no.. .bad... don't go in there" I probably would have gone in.... and been killed by a drug addict... if it wasn't for my sweet hubby who is my only voice of reason I'd have ended up in much worse trouble... Good luck if you go back looking for the lost duckling... let us wondering minds know how it turns out!

You can do this.

Use a net or even a large sheet that you toss over her, and then hold down the edges while you work your way to finding her under the sheet and safely transfer her to a box.

There isn't anyone else to help her. There's just you. I regret dearly not doing something to help a duck. It haunts me. This won't leave you alone, trust me on that one.

So be brave and go rescue that little sweetheart.
