"Oooh, oooh! Something shiny!"
hey, when she's done pecking your eye out, Get an eyepatch, & pirate hat. She'll fit right in.
had a wyandotte do that to me once when i was getting eggs! got me right on the eyelid and i had to wear a big purple bandaid right over my eye! IT HURT!!! oh well, maybe i had something there and it looked like food...idk
Oh man! If I have moisture on my glasses, say rain, my Polish will go crazy trying to eat it. Well, they have no brains to begin with, so I shouldn't be too suprised.....
NellaBean you know they love eyeballs, wet lips, teeth, jewelry and anything else that is shiny. hahahaha Glad she did not get ya.
I had some pieces of scrambled eggs left over from fried rice...
Kids don't do this at home!
I put pieces of egg on my tongue and got close to my hens as they were filing up to roost for the night...
My americaunas (fatties) would reach out as far as they could to pick the eggs off my tongue. It felt very funny.
They're bigger than the others so they got the majority, but a little RIR (I may name squeak) figured out that if she put her head beneath the fatties heads she could push up and knock them off balance just long enough for her to grab the scrambled eggs.
Much funniness ensued as the fatties would squawk flap and try to regain their balance. They'd glare at squeak for a second but by then she had hopped over the wine-dotters to another fatty... She got many pieces of scrambled egg.
Eyeballs are delicious! NOM NOM NOM!!
I learned the hard way. If they are on my shoulder I don`t look at them. I got pecked in the eye twice. First time right eye the next day the left.
