I just processed my first chickens yesterday. I culled 9 chickens and after reviewing some sites today, realized I did not remove the lungs. I've already frozen the birds. Is this going to effect them in any way? Can I remove them one by one as I defrost them to use?

Thanks so much,

Honestly the lungs wont hurt anything ... I have never removed them and the only thing ive noticed is if im boiling the meat sthe lung material will float to the top i just skim it off and go...

No harm in it. If you do find some while thawing, just pull them out or if you dont mind it, cook it with the chicken, well done. After it is cooled, you can either feed it to your cats or dogs or some folks consider it as a deliciaty.
