Yes but she’s always grumpy! I think molting is quite uncomfortable, so I’ll cut her some slackoh! phew! that was my guess... august for these guys but i could be wrong. how is yours getting on? is she grumpy? lol!

i'm lucky if i can find layer pellets or chick crumble. if i had cows instead, i could get them anything! lol! would scrambled egg do in a pinch?Without getting into the chicken feed wars, you might try augmenting their diet with extra (animal, if possible) protein. Because in fact, growing new feathers does require a lot of protein!
