I relate to the financial. Not everyone has thousands of dollars to invest in fixes that might already take some weeks.

If you are not a big DIYer, maybe get a plastic shed. Ours has served as a chick-growing area, an infirmary, a nesting spot (it has a hay bin in it), feed storage. Sometimes chickens try to roost in it.

But in any case, it appears that this is a space issue. Your birds need more. You don't have to get to the "ideal," but if you can separate a few out, that may solve the issue.

I'd move the birds that made the list and then just finish the list later. It'll be 2 integrations, but would buy some time

Also I have to ask..HOW did you configure those numbers..to uh feet?Math was never my strong suit so I struggle big time using measuring tape.Those lines mean absolutely nonsense to me.

The separation is already beginning!I had a surplus of old,sick,bad layers,bad tempered,bad conformation chickens that I had been hanging onto for sentimental reasons.So this is the perfect excuse I need to separate the wheat from the chaff!

Yep, that's what I did.
I also have a conversion program that I could have used.
Plus I know from experience that 144" is 12'.
But I'm a drafter by trade so......that helps too.
