I don't know if I should cull my chicken!!!!!!! please help!!!

My main concern is that it's inhumane to keep him like this because of is mobility issues. Should I put him to sleep or let him live out his natural life?
You sound like a responsible person who will make a good decision with the birds well-being in mind. Seem like you gave him/her a nice life. Can probly not last too much longer. I don't think you will let the sweet bird suffer. From what you say you are already concerned about quality of life. Best wishes, I will keep you in my thoughts.

Its a CX?
Wheres it say?
OP didn't know the breed but everything said is consistent with CX. The bird is about two months old. Even the fact that it was given as a party favor - CX just don't get respect.:(

party favours were live baby chickens

tweeting and running around and pooping and it seemed pretty happy.

One day I noticed tweet kind of limping and it just got progressively worse and now he can barely stand up.

all he does is sit down and eat and doesn't move a whole lot

he struggles to get around and can't walk very well

My chicken is still yellow in some parts, but the feathers he does have are white so maybe you're right about that? I'm not very familiar with chicken behaviours but he never pecked at us and he's such a sweet boy. I do know of another party attendee that took 2 chickens home and one of them died for unknown reasons a while ago so I really don't know what we could've done to prevent this.

If you don't let CX eat a ton they wob't grow too big....
You are on the right track with that thought, but it is not that simple. DuluthRalphie has a project where he needs to raise CX to breeding age. Despite the best management he is lucky to have a few of each group make it.:D
