I dont know if my duck has a disease or a infection ! PLEASE HELP!!

I dont know if it is just my ducks fur that is brownish blackish or if it is an infection or some type of disease. Please help me he is only five weeks old.

He is an American Pekin

He might have some kind of infection then. I'm not an expert on the topic of infection, wish I did know more.
Does it look like the dark spot is on the fuzz or the skin?

Its on his fur. Thats why i dont know if its his color of fur or not .. i even tried bathing him thinking he was just dirty, but it wouldnt come off

Where did you get him? Is it possible that he is a mixed breed?
That could be the cause of the change in color.

I got him from my friend as a gift so im not really sure but that is how he looked when he was a baby

Pekins are supposed to be all white, so most likely he is a crossbreed. Its probably not an infection, its probably just his color.
He's adorable!
