I don't know which: Polish or Silkie?!

I will get both eventually, but which one first!

I know someone with both, but can only get one at a time (mom's rule) I want to start a bantam flock, so I was thinking of waiting on the silkie. Please help!

edit: Worded a little weird. In the spring I want a bantam flock, so I could wait on the silkie if that makes more since.

I would get the silkies before the polish, just my preference. I didn't care for the polish when I had them, so I got rid of them. (too flighty)

I have both, and I agree, I'd get the Silkies first. Polish are flighty and nervous, where Silkies are calm and easy to handle.
