I had a pip last night (Day 19) and when I woke up this morning had two new babies! I had 3 more today but NONE OF THE OTHERS ARE DOING ANYTHING BUT SITTING THERE WITH ONE STINKING PIP IN THE SHELLS!!!!

Come On Come On Come On Come On......

Oh, BTW Jenn, you need to be patient with these things...

Patient... I do think that is getting more and more impossible... I am getting very close to the 24 hour mark with really no big changes at all!!!! I think I need to do 27 egg C-sections..... STAT....

This is going on day three for me watching and waiting. I have had 19 hatch but DD put 7 more in two days after I set the first 32 so here I am waiting for the rest. three are pipped but nothing I keep hearing the chirping but its not coming from the egg I thought would hatch. Loooked closer and heirs another one with a good sized pip on the bottom. DH just came in and told me it hatched be right back.....

Its another black australope and theres another one almost out. I didn't even see his pip lol

Sorry Jenn But I have been on chick watch for three days and nights straight. I keep checking on them and checking on them. I have used up the batteries on my flashlight so my son brought out his fish tank light so I could see lol (Flashlight batteries are 10.00 for 2). I have come to the conclusions that australopes take longer to hatch than any other chick. Yours will come eventually.......

Go take a shower and get ready for work, go check and babies will be out! Turn on a bedside light and it encourages them to come on out and play, it is daytime!!!!

WELL!!! At least someone is doing something. I have to announce the arrival of a bouncing baby girl copper black marans chick! I have a couple more CBM's pippd and some silkies Black x White mixed color ones from PRETTY birds... the olive eggs... none pipped yet. They are so thick I can't even see if they developed, so we will just see if any of those hatch or not, but at least ONE of my chics came out and more look like they are working on it... Hang in there guys, there's hope!
