I've been on here for a bit, and never intro'd myself I don't think.

My name is Selena. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (almost 7 years), but am looking into being a Veterinary Assistant. Just as much biting and kicking, but no cussing and screaming. [IMG]

I'm also a homemaker. I married my HS sweetheart at 19 and we're going on 7 1/2 years now. (anyone doing some quick math?) Live in the same town his family's lived in for generations. (I'm originally from Central Cali). He's very much a "redneck" country boy (he's also a little crazy, and I'm sure he'd make Jeff Foxworthy cry with laughter...). He's in construction.

Kids: None, unless you count the feathered/furry/scaley kind, of whom I am typically the primary caregiver.

    1 Rottweiler: Annie (developmentally delayed)
1 Cocker Spaniel: Rusty (was headed to the pound)
    2 cats:
Bayly (Persian/Siamese. Was malnourished when adopted)
SoCo (a polydactal cat. Was headed to the pound along with 14 other cats and numerous other animals.)
    tank O Fish
    bunch of poultry

    and my babies...[IMG] :
    2 Australian Inland Bearded Dragons:
Jak (Had Fatty Liver Disease. Recovered, and very spoiled.)
Morgan (Was severely neglected/abused/malnourished. Still recovering, and also very spoiled now.)

    Hi Selena,

I did the assistant nurse thing too while I was studying, so I know all about the biting and kicking.

    Welcome to BYC.
