I feed my choocks apricot seeds will they die?

I cracked open apricot seeds and feed them to my choocks will they die

I don't know if you are trying to be funny comedian, or serious.
I do like to infuse humor into my posts so will give you the benefit of the doubt.
Fact: those seed and seeds from peaches as well as apples, and many other fruit contain small amounts of cyanide. I can give you links to articles that state just what I am writing here. Some seeds interact with the stomach acids and create hydrogen cyanide, a toxic gas.
Of course a few seeds will not be very harmful. Large quantities more likely can do harm.

There are two types of apricot seeds, the edible and the poisonous, taste the seeds, if they taste like almond they are fine, if they taste bitter that is cyanide, luckily, animals don't eat poisonous stuff as it tastes awful.

I never really thought much about it. But I was surprised when I was told 'don't eat apple seeds they can kill you' then I found out you would have to eat an awful lot to have an effect then it would only be like a belly ache. I don't know if I would bother going to the effort of cracking open apricot seeds for them though.

You may weigh for example 100 KG. and a chicken weighs 2 KG. Can you calculate how many seeds would do a CHICKEN in??? If it is soo harmless, why don't the feed companies add it to their Chicken feed as an ALTERNATIVE CHEAP FILL.
I only stated in my previous post that the chickens should be OK. That does not mean that they would not encounter some stomach pain/cramps.
From your post I get an impression that it is not a very big deal.
