I feel so guilty . . .

So I had been letting my little flock of 5 hens out to free range in my yard an hour each day.

I did this the other day and got called away and forgot about them.
They nearly RUINED my beautiful back yard lawn.

Now, I"m keeping them cooped up in a fairly large run, but without green stuff.

They are so forlorn!

When I go to the gate, they RUN and stand by it and look at me, like, "So, are you going to let us out?"

I feel horrible ::laughing::

I keep saying, "They're only chickens. They're only chickens."

Can someone redeem me?:th

1/2" hardware cloth for grass-like leaved plants(sod and grains)
1 x 2" fencing for larger leaved plants.

When fresh planting seed I stack a second frame on top until roots are established or they pull the whole plant out.

I like the one at the top best and am converting the others over.

Ripped a half inch off the 2x4's and used it to cover mesh edges to avoid cut feet and subsequent infection (bumblefoot).
