I feel so mean!!!!

Ok they quieted down a little after I gave them two suet cages of treats... Here is a pic.
One of my EE's snuck out while I had the door open for a second...stinker. She RAN to her favorite spot under the front porch to lay her egg. Sigh at least I know where to find it.

Well this morning is the third day that I have kept my girls locked up. They were a lot more quiet this morning, guess they have accepted their fate.

My husband let the girls out at about 1pm yesterday. I actually was able to collect 10 eggs. One was laid in a favorite spot in the bushes but overall a better egg count that before.

You made the right decision keeping them in. My girls don't have a pen but if they start laying in the bushes, I drive them nuts. I'll wait and if I see one run off right quick, I hide, sneak up on her and put her in the coop haha!
