Still missing white but I'm so happy!

The first 2 eggs are from my last hatch-a-long olive egger pullets. Third is from Peach, the first broody mom, 4th is yellow and it's from one of her daughters. 5th is from Kiwi, my second broody. It's not actually grey, it's more of a sage color. Last one is from a legbarxaraucana (Little Hen's daughter), no idea where the cute speckles come from. I have no speckled layers!

Well those pullets are very special! The first is actu:oops:ally the egg I was calling a “grey”, it looks like a very deep grey on my screen and with my less than ideal eyesight, so apologies for that. With that description, I’m assuming it’s actually a very deep olive colour with a heavy bloom?

Speckles on eggs are so fun! They make them look more “wild”, even though junglefowl don’t lay speckled eggs.

How is Peach, by the way? Ready for another round of brooding, or is it too cold, even for her :p

Yes, it's a F1 olive egg with a heavy bloom. No idea who's laying that, it's from this morning. I'll try with the lipstick method lol.
Peach isn't going broody anytime soon, she tried but changed her mind. The weather is extremely wet, muddy and rainy so that's a good thing.
