I found a bird egg on my lawn that is either a Crested Pigeon or a Rainbow Lorikeet. I found out all I need to know if it hatches to be a Crested Pigeon but I could not find anything on what to feed a Rainbow Lorikeet chick. I need help please! My incubator is bust, I have never used it anyway, it's homemade, and the lightbulb has blown, so I have fashioned an incubator out of an ice cream tub, towels, paper towels, a cup cosy, and a hot water bottle. I know this thing stands a one in a TRILLION of chances, but as long as there is one, I am going to try. I just need to know what to feed a baby Rainbow Lorikeet please!

You should check to see if it is legal to keep an egg from either species
It is legal to keep both as pets over here. And no one of our neighbors would mind. I had a magpie once, called Maddie when I was about 8. She was already hatched though, and she now hangs around the street. She would have been fine without me if she hadn't landed on our driveway. So cute! But I am digressing.
So yeah, it's legal. :D
