just curious. how much does the neutering cost by you? here in ny it is like over 300 dollars.

my vet said $40 last week he spayed the chihuahua It was $ 80. My husband is very proud that he and the roo are the only things I haven't "fixed"

But it's sickening that someone turns out a pet to "go wild"....The pet bunny just cannot make it in the wild and that' s just so unresponsible...

yeah i had my rabbit fixed for i think the bill came to be 330. it is unbelievable and they try to "push" spaying and neutering. hahaa

My vet wanted $200 for a neuter on my bunny so I called a rabbit rescue and said I needed assistance and they did it for $65 so $40 is awesome. Sometimes I think the closer to the city you live the more expensive the vet prices.

I took my cat in with a urinary issue 2 days ago and they told me it was going to be $860. I didn't have that kind of money and I asked for my cat back because I was going to try another vet and they said they couldn't give him to me because he was so ill he needed to be put down if they didn't treat him. OF course that set me off. The vet came down to $400 but I'm still not happy they wouldn't give me my cat. I still can't get him from the vet because they keep saying he needs to stay overnight but I'm not paying anything over $400. Highway robbery. All they needed to do for him was put a catheter in him and give me subcu fluids to take home and let me monitor him. I've done this before when he's had this issue but I lived in the country back then and it cost me $75. Now I'm in the city and they charge waaay too much.

that is !@#@#$%#$# ridiculous. they have no right to keep the cat if you said no. i would have stormed back there and got him back. that is unbelievable and i would call the cops.!!

Something isn't right here. I agree about contacting the police. Maybe animal control.
