They just sent me a batch of over 200 when I bid for 150. I paid for two batches and shipping and they combined the two. Since they collected for two shipments they sent a whole bunch of extra eggs. I got something like 216. Man, what a lot of itty bitty eggs.!! All individually wrapped. Took me almost an hour to get them all in the trays! Really nice folks and great ebay'ers!
I may order some from them, myself. I have been considering buying some from ebay, but was a bit afraid of doing this. Yes, you should definitely let us know how the hatch goes!
I'll let you all know how the hatch goes, I plan to set them all tomorrow morning when I move the 25 eggs already in my bator to the hatcher. I'm so excited about the duck eggs, I have never hatched ducks before, but I'm nervous too, there are sooo many conflicting ways of incubating duck eggs!
We were just touching on this in another thread. I don't think there is only ONE successful way to hatch. Find someone with a good record of experience (which leaves me out) and whose posts seem to make you nod often enough. If you have questions as to why they do something a certain way, PM and ask them.
I found a couple of waterfowl "mentors" and they have been very helpful to me. I've still had my mistakes and mis-steps and have a long way to go, but that's part of the process.
Good luck...I'm so happy to hear good stories about sellers!
Maybe this good ebayer might be a BYCer. You never know.. I think I am going to have to check out their auctions.. Away and on to ebay I go.. Be back in a few.. LOL
