Wrong! Certified organic feed does not allow GMO. Yes there can be a small amount because of cross pollination. It is best to get a feed company that actually tests it's grain. Again Organic standards do not allow GMO grains to be used. Organic means non GMO.You do realize that organic doesn't always mean non-GMO right? Is that feed non-GMO as well? Let me know that would be three options I would have in chicken feeds
All USDA certified organic feeds are certified by a third party. I am saying that a minute amount is allowed, but if your company is just buying organic grain and not doing their own testing, the certification doesn't mean much. GMO grains are never certified organic.You do know in the same breath that you said it was organic you also said there's a possibility of genetically modified grains getting into it right?
Not only that but the USDA is currently deciding what organic really means so it's up in the air still. To me it is important to have a company that's a third-party certified things as organic and also non-GMO.
