I found him recently dead, can I eat him?

Thanks for the replies. It had died within about an hour of when I found it, on a rather cold day. So I gutted it, skinned it, cut it up and put it in the freezer with plans on it becoming soup. The organs looked healthy, other than the rather oversized heart, which leads me to believe it was a heart attack. I agree, if I didn't know that it had been alive an hour prior (ie, who knows how long it was dead), I wouldn't even have considered eating it. Anyway, thanks for the thoughts!
