I found my "Lost" Hen Goldie Today!

Update on Goldie! Well this morning, I opened the hen house and fed all the chickens and Goldie decided to leave the nest box and go back to the woods! What can I say, this is her first attempt at setting.

I took all of her eggs inside to the incubator. They were slightly warm, but not as warm as they should be. I candled a few of them and they are READY TO HATCH! I am crossing my fingers that I get some of the 20 to hatch. Some of the chicks will be from a barred rock hen called Checkers, and Goldie of course, with Rudy Roo. I am calling my BR + LB mixed chicks Barred Rock O' Brahmas!

I think Goldie went back to Kennebunkport on vacation.

I guess I can call the Buff Orp-LB mix Buffama's?
