I found some eggs in the nesting boxes today!!!!

Well here they are......

For the last 2 days we have seen 2 soft shell broken eggs right outside the coop but today this is what I found. The hens were 15 weeks old yesterday. They layed right in the nesting boxes.

15 week!! geez .. little over acheivers.. hehe

mine are on their 23rd week .. and are sooooooooo ready. letting Shiner breed them .. doing the egg squat .. all interested in dark tight corners and nests boxes ..

every day i walk to the coop all excited ... only to walk away muttering something about "freeloaders" .. hehehe

They might need more calcium throwing those soft shelled ones.
