I gave in and started eggs today! Anyone else due around the 13??

Okay so I got my Brinsea octagon 20 advance today in the mail!!!

And well looking at all the pics on here I just have been going crazy thinking Id have to wait till next spring. Soo the hubby said I could try a few eggs from my girls. We have the coop where we can split it anywhos so why not right

This is my first hatch ever or well my first attempt ever. Sooooo anyone else hatching around the 13?

Hello,

I should be due the 13th too. This is my second batch of eggs. I killed the first off with a massive temperature spike

But I'm sure this time will be different. I have purchased lots more thermometers and one even has an alarm with the temp goes out of range.. I may just rig it up to speakers

I'm using a cheapie incubator and hatchinh 8 rare miniature Silkie eggs. 4 white and 4 black..

I'm with you, due on 12th. This is first time for me also. I have 7 Silkies and 6 mutts on the way. I'm not sure on some of the small mutt eggs, either banty or white game. Time will tell. Good Luck!

Two of my India Blue peafowl eggs are due to hatch on the 13th.
(The 1st 5 are due 8/6 and the last 2 due 8/16.)

First time hatch here to!! I have a Genisis 1588 and have 49 eggs in the bator hand turning them.I have 12 mutt eggs and the rest silkies.All different color silkies.It's my sons 4H project

but secretly it's my obsession.I'm just lucky enough my son is into it so I don't look so crasy.

Iam hatching on the 12th ( I hope!!) this is my first time!

thay are for my six year old daughter it was her idea..she wants her own chickens..I have turned her chicken crazy too!!
