I am still nervous mine started early which freaked me out found i miscounted but they are still early. nature is a funny thing you can always count on always being suprised!and never being able to predict.
Congrats everyone, on all the new chicks! Hooray! Hang in there Cherlyn (and everyone else who is still... waiting...) I will go on lockdown tonight at 7:30.
I had 12 eggs in the bator that I purchased from ILOVEFRIZZLES. All arrived in great condition, after day 10, two weren't developing, but the remaining 10 are doing great!!
So excited, lockdown for me is on August 13th. Wish me luck!
I guess I didn't believe this would really happen. I can see it in there moving around. OH MY GOD!!!!
Now for the bad news. I think my eggs are too close together. I've been reading everybody's discussions about the eggs rocking and rolling and mine haven't because I think they are too close. I've got them touching each other. I thought I'd place them like they'd be positioned in a nest. I'm afraid they'll be too crowded to hatch. I want so bad to reposition the eggs, but I'd have to open the incubator to do it. What should I do? OH, and how long does this take? Are we looking at hours and a day or better? Thanks
