Henrietta does have feathers on her legs, we have a Salmon Favarolle, Tweety. We were thinking she might be as well, but she feathered a lot later.
But she does not have a beard or the 5th toe. So she isn't a Favorelle.

You're right she does not have a 5th toe or beard. I'm pretty sure you were right with the Wheaton Maran. I looked up some pictures at different ages and it's spot on. Thank you!But she does not have a beard or the 5th toe. So she isn't a Favorelle.
I read that Cuckoo Marans don't have feathers on their legs, Baldy does have feathers on her legs. Could it still possibly be a Cuckoo even though she has feathers?Cuckoo Marans
Wheaten Marans
Black Marans
Welsummer
Black Marans
Gold Laced Wyandotte
Barnevelder
Not sure??
If you check with the feed store, they'll likely tell you where they got their chicks, especially if you tell them why you want to know. They may even have a list of the breeds in the assortment they ordered. As far as gender, I'm going out on a limb, here, but if the lighting is true, you may have all lady-birds. At five weeks, they would normally show some red-tinged coloring in their combs, but all I see is yellow. Fingers crossed for you!I read that Cuckoo Marans don't have feathers on their legs, Baldy does have feathers on her legs. Could it still possibly be a Cuckoo even though she has feathers?

That's what I thought also, and found it odd that it said that. Thank you!Marans are suppose to be feather legged. The standard actually calls for it. Its actually uncommon that hatchery Marans do.
