I got 60 eggs from two chickens in one night!

I have two layers. I checked the nest box before I put them up for the night...then in the morning, I saw this...

So I guess this is what you get when you complain that your chickens didn't lay any eggs yesterday and your smart aleck brother in laws think it would be funny to sneak into your coop at 2 am and play a joke on you. My wife was in on it just in case I heard them rustling around out there...my .357 mag is pretty close to the window they were out side of!!! As you can see...I did get one brown egg in there.

That is funny! My neighbor down the street just had his first hen start laying. Im gonna sneak down there and put a dozen eggs (6 brown 6 white) in his coop tonight!! He's "celebrating" right now so he'll be sleeping sound by 8pm LOL
