I got a new LG and I HATE it!!!

Geesh, poor Kelly. I just got back to this thread.

Kelly, what did you ultimately think of your LG? Is this the one that you hatched your Marans from? Just curious what you ultimately thought about it.

Once I managed to get it to a decent temp it stayed pretty steady. I still like my Hovabator better, but I guess I don't hate the LG any more. I do have to say I love the turner!

The turner for the LG is much better quality than the one that came with my Hovabator. I prefer it too.

when i got my second LG it only took me 2 hours to set mine up and having it running steady... i guess i am just good with LG's ? lol

The turner in my Hovabator turns way to fast. Ever 15-20 minutes it is completely the other direction. Not sure if it is suppose to turn that much or that fast but hey...I have gotten some nice hatches out of both (LG and Hova)

You should volunteer to hatch ALL the eggs in the upcoming egg swap, just to see if you can in such a NiCe BaTor! We'll just pay to have them shipped to YoU! And pick them up all dry and fluffy. I am JeAlOuS.

EDIT: How many racks does the Sportsman hold?

I did not like my LG from TSC at all, just never could get it right. I have now bought the 1588 Hova Bator and it is so much easier, there is just no way to compare. It was almost a set it and forget it ventrure. I did use the LG turner, which works great. I think if I can get the humidity in it corrected it will just hatch eggs by itself. Now what to do with all those extra chicks? Mail the One Much?
