between my hens, and everyone elses, i still didnt get all 288 holes filled !! but almost lol,, the racks i ordered said they would hold 270 , but apparently they cant count hehe

heres the first 35 to come out ( had to open bator early to help a stuck ( really stuck chick) and have 5 in the bator, 2 hatched, 1 zipped, and waiting on 2.

Very cute!! I had 25 hatch a week and a half ago and I have 55 more in the bators! And did I mention the 8 my Silkie is sitting on? Some of them are on Day 19!
wooohooo Kelly ,, i wish i had a broody hen,,, but then again, i wouldnt be able to watch em and get addicted hehe

But back to the LG's...I think they are easier to adjust than the Hovabators. Got my second batch of eggs in the Hovabator now and if they don't hatch well, I'll switch back to the LG. Buttons and jumbo coturnix - almost 90 eggs - due to hatch 11/22.

Oh you're funny...I HATE snakes. DBF has a boa (I think that's what it is) and it's HUGE. I also hate seeing thawing rats. Freaked me out the first time I saw them.
But back to the LG's...I think they are easier to adjust than the Hovabators. Got my second batch of eggs in the Hovabator now and if they don't hatch well, I'll switch back to the LG. Buttons and jumbo coturnix - almost 90 eggs - due to hatch 11/22.

Hi Kelly, I think I have read every last post here but never saw how many eggs in the LG and how many actually hatched?
Also wanted to say that I am sorry about that absent minded professor that felt he/she had to strike out at you, I feel that was uncalled for, also the grammar seeking person but then that one got over-bashed and that's not right either.
All this stuff bugs me because my first impression of this site was that the people were generally nice, until I got slammed for culling a nasty broody because I am a city dweller and can not keep noisy birds. Well, you would have thought I killed the Pope! Then I got screwed further for defending myself and also made a PETA comment but I got nailed for that from moderator so I just guess we have to learn to pick our threads, right?
Anyway, I am super curious what the hatch rate was in your LG if you don't mind sharing.
