I got a new PB piglet!

Yep, I may be crazy! I have debated all along about possibly breeding Hilda atleast once, and an oportunity fell in my lap and I grabbed it! So today I brought home her new future boy friend! She is not impressed and even attempted to push him back into the crate I brought him in, when that didn't work she tried to climb in herself (way to small). For him, on the other hand, it was love at first sight!

He won't be staying w/ her, I don't want piglets til I'm ready, but I did want to see what they'd think of each other, Hilda hasn't even seen another pig since she was 3 days old. I think it went pretty good! And they will be able to see each other through the pens.

So here are the pics I took, only one of just him, the rest are him (no name yet) and Hilda (I think she's sun burned). He'll be 7 weeks old tomarrow.
This one isn't the greatest, but it's the only one I got of just him!

Finally Hilda desided to get in the pool where she "thought" he couldn't follow! She was wrong, but I didn't get any pics of that.

Thank you, I think he's pretty adorable to! I actually got him from the same breeder I got Hilda from, I met his mom, but his dad is new, he's where he got the red from, I didn't get to see him because someone picked him up for me! There were two reds in the litter of 8, I had a hard time desiding between him and his brother, but I think I picked the best one! I think he and Hilda are going to have some very pretty babies!

The introduction really went as well as I could have hoped! I was alittle worried, but Hilda was clearly being careful even though she was telling him she wasn't interested.

On the sunburn, she recently started blowing her coat, it happened pretty quickly, she's always been kind of hairy, and just last week she had a full coat. I just noticed how pink she was yesterday, I was thinking I just hadn't noticed because she was covered in white hair (I was feeling bad), but now I'm thinking it just happened and we hadn't had a problem before because the hair was protecting her!

Anyway, I'm pretty excited about this new addition! Things just fell together so nicely, and this one was ment to be ours!

He is cute! That is the first red pot I have seen too. There's something about his feet that reminds me of another breed, but I can't seem to remember what it is.
I love the pic with his head tilted.
Hilda looks like a very pampered piggy. That should be a beautiful litter!
My piggies are shedding now too. From the bottom up!
