I GOT ANOTHER ONE wood duck eggs PICS INCLUDED NOW PG 2

Yep, unless pinioned, woodies always lay in their nest boxes, very, very uncommon for one to just drop an egg. You probley have a small off colored mallard egg. Woodies are pretty small I'd say about 2 inches long, look just like the ones in the pic on first page, half the size or less of an average mallard egg, ivory, greyish white color and very waxy.
Could be a wood duck, but unlikely , about a month or so too early still, and like I said, if a nest box is available, they will rarely ever lay one outside of a box.
Post a pic if possible, but hatch it, then you'll know for sure!!

If it is a wood duck egg...(the egg is about 2 inches long) I wouldn't be surprised...LOL..everything here seems to be laying early..my guineas, turkeys, and mallards have all started laying recently. The wood duck hen is pinioned...but does have a nest box....on the ground, near our pond. I will see what happens tomorrow or Thursday...to see if I get another egg like it. Thanks guys for your help!!!
