My chickens have hatched out ducklings!

I am pretty sure that big duckling is a Pekin but I am not sure what the other black and yellow one is. It hatched from a green egg but so did the 2 under the Silkies and they don't look like it. They look gray or blue. I hope they are half Muscovy.

Anyone think they look like a certain breed of duck?
I plan to keep them because they should be mixes regardless. I don't want to sell mixed breeds but do not mind hatching them for ourselves. Girls stay and boys go to camp.

I forgot to snap photos of the Holderreads Saxony that came in on Wed. They are very bouncy and happy ducklings, too.

Looks like a blue Swedish...thats if you have any blue Swedish ducks.... I know you have Runners and Pekins, cant remember what else you have. Just looked at your ducks so yes could be any sort of mix. I thought you was getting Runners from Holderreads, or did you order some from Sandhill. If you have ordered some Runners Nadine and have any extra boy, could you give me a shout please instead of sending him to freezer camp, as Im looking to buy another Runner drake of a different colour.

Blue Swedish...
muscovy don't cross with other ducks...they are actually a "perching waterfowl" not an actual duck as we know them...or so i've been told ..the only known cross has been mallard X muscovy and they are like horse X donkey....infertile "mules".
BTW, Blue Swedish are BEAUTIFUL !

The one your holding looks just like my blue Swedish ducklings.
I love the photo of the duckling sitting on the hens back! Too cute!

muscovys will cross with other ducks, not just with mallards, but whatever ducks they cross with the results are "mule ducks" and they will be infertile

I LOVE that picture of the duckling on the chicken's back. It's cute how she's 100% sure she's a chicken.
