I was totally surprised when I went out to feed. The chicken that I had rescued had left me a surprise. I checked her make do nest and wowser! I had 5 eggs! I didn't think she would be laying this fast. I thought that since she had been traumatized that it would take her awhile. I have idea how old she is, but I'm guessing not too. My husband laughs when I go out to feed I call "Hey chicken!" and she comes running. She got some treats for surprising me.
