I Got 'em I Got 'em!!!!

If you want you can check the bulk food section of your grocery store. They sometimes sell Brewer's yeast or Nutritional yeast in bulk as another option. It is in a flake/powder form.

No offense here, but shouldn't you have done your home work before you've got your ducks. I mean from having and knowing how to use a brooder, what heat source, what food, what vitamins/electrolytes and beneficial bacteria etc. There is a lot of things that are so important in the first month of the bird. You should have at least bought a book and read up on it. Sorry my rant, but you should have been a little bit prepared before jumping on day old ducklings.

I have been studying everything I can find on ducks for over 2 months now!! Just ask everyone on here how annoying I have been asking questions. I have the brooder, light source, water and feed. I was just being sure that it was ok to feed them starter. I thought I had read it before but I was just double checking.I assure you that my ducks will be well taken care of and spoiled! And thanks to everyone else for answering the questions that I had!!

Well, it did come across like you didn't check on it first. Just look at your first message, it really sounded like it. I'm sure they will be spoiled rotten.

yes thats the right stuff. I would just take half of one tablet and crush it and dissolve it in a gallon jug of water, mix / shake well and then just use the jug to fill up their waterer as needed. This is what I was told to do for my ducklings a few years back. They are all perfectly fine.

Anyway I mix a teaspoon of sand or grit in with a heavy cup of feed for ducklings (most will say this is wrong and to give a free choice of sand or grit - but everyone has their ways - lol - i just find this easier.) PEAS they LOVE peas, start them off with a bit of cooked mushed peas, they should gobble it up. Also finely chopped greens like romaine lettuce, also fruits are good for them, finely chop or squish up peaches or something for them. mine love some peaches.

If you lived closer i'd donate 2 2 day old muscovy babies to you as well
